Cold laser therapy, also known as low level laser therapy, utilizes specific wavelengths of red or violet light with an intensity that can treat tissues at various depths (up to 5 inches according to studies). The wavelengths turn on an enzyme (cyclicAMP) that accelerates cell protein production and tissue recovery.
We use cold laser for numerous conditions:
- Chronic and acute pain
- Neuropathy
- Ligament sprains
- Muscle strains
- Tendonitis
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Fibromyalgia
- Wound healing and tissue healing
- Headaches
- Spinal adjustments for those who cannot be touched
We utilize three different lasers for various issues. Each has different properties, frequencies and power (or depth of treatment). Cold laser can often be an effective solution for previously non-responsive conditions.
